Utoppie is an independent optical store based in Bordeaux in the south west of France.
The glasses are handmade in Europe or in Japan.
All prices are indicated in Euros.
Payments are made on the site by secure payment via paypal or Stripe.
DELIVERY AND DELIVERY TIME
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with an order number.
All orders are shipped from our store in Bordeaux in the south west of France. Orders are sent via DHL express. You will receive an email from DHL with a tracking number as soon as your package is shipped. We ship worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated according to your shipping address.
Customs fees for shipments outside of Europe may apply and we are not responsible for them. We cannot predict if charges will apply or how much you will be charged. No refunds will be accepted on orders that have not been received due to unpaid customs charges.
By ordering from Utoppie, you agree to pay the VAT that will be claimed by customs. If you refuse to pay the VAT fees, the package will be returned to us and the VAT fees will be applied twice (import / export). We will be obliged to deduct these fees from your refund. In case of refusal, your parcel will be destroyed by the customs service and we will not be able to proceed to the refund of this one.
An insurance is available to cover the total refund of your order in case of loss. This insurance costs 1% of the total value of your order if it is over 1200€ and 10€ for orders below. If you wish to subscribe to this insurance, please specify it in the “comments” box when paying for your order or by sending an email to email@example.com
RETURN, EXCHANGE AND REFUND
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code on distance selling (Articles L121-16 and following of the Consumer Code), the buyer can use his right of withdrawal for any reason and will only have to pay the return shipping costs. The law provides that the buyer has 14 days to do so, from the date of delivery of the product.
If the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, holiday or other non-business day, it is extended to the next business day.
Beyond that, Utoppie reserves the right to refuse the return or refund. Your requests should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the form site.
The return or exchange of items will be accepted only if the request has been validated by customer service and only if the items ordered are returned in perfect condition, unused or damaged. The package must be sent within 14 working days, otherwise we reserve the right to refuse it.
The return of the products is the responsibility of the buyer and we cannot be held responsible for any problem of delivery with the carrier that you will have chosen. We recommend that you sign for the package.
It is also possible to return your order to us for a modification, in this case the expenses of return and of the new sending will be also the responsibility of the purchaser.
the cleaning of the glasses must be done with cold water with a liquid soap or a cleaning spray. Do not use hot water.
Wipe the lenses with the microfiber provided in the case.
